Cindy Brown was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area. After completing her undergraduate degree and attaining advanced certification in critical care, Cindy practiced trauma nursing in Washington, D.C. for 3 years, before receiving her MSN in 1995.
Cindy has practiced both family and emergency medicine. She has traveled the world as an international flight nurse, and has served as an American Red Cross volunteer during national disasters.
Cindy is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Nurse’s Credentialing Center.
